Wait to run your dishwasher until it is full!

Don't leave the water running when you're rinsing your dishes!

Shut off the faucet while brushing your teeth!

Don't use your toilet as a waste basket! Less flushes save water!

Only do full loads of laundry!

Fix leaky toilets!

Fix leaky faucets!

Irrigate your lawn or garden before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m.!

Adjust your sprinkler heads to reduce overspray and runoff!

Fix broken sprinkler heads and leaks!

Use a broom to clean walkways and driveways instead of a hose!

Don't leave the hose running when washing your car!

Install a drip irrigation system in your garden, for your trees, shrubs, and flowers!

We need your help to save water!

Replace portions of your lawn with low-water-use plants and trees!

Cut back watering your landscape by 1 day a week!

Don't overwater your yard! Cut back your watering cycle by 2 minutes per day!

To help local residents use less water around the house, Helix Water District is offering a free video chock-full of water-saving tips.
